ThinkPalette Privacy Policy

Last updated

This policy explains how information is handled in the App, advertising, support inquiries, and this official website.

Scope

ThinkPalette (the “App”) is an iPhone game provided by 橋本 貴史, an individual developer (the “Developer”). This policy applies to the App, Google advertising and consent services, support inquiries sent by email, and the official ThinkPalette website (the “Site”).

On-Device Game Records

The Developer does not operate a server that receives game history, personal bests, answers, or App settings. The App stores the following information only on your device:

This information is not sent to the Developer and is not synchronized between devices. You can delete your records from Settings in the App. Deleting the App also deletes information stored locally by the App.

Sharing

Only when you choose to share from a result screen does the App pass a result image or text to the standard iOS share sheet. You choose the destination and whether to send it. The Developer does not receive the shared content. Information handled by an app or service you choose is governed by that service’s privacy policy.

Device Permissions

The App does not request access to the camera, microphone, photos, location, contacts, calendar, or notifications. Dates, times, and plans in the Planning game are fictional in-game information; the App does not access your calendar or location.

Advertising and Consent Management

To support free access, the App uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP). Depending on consent and network conditions, one ad may appear after the high-score summary when you scroll to the end of Home. Ads do not appear during game setup, play, feedback, results, history, or settings.

At launch, the App uses UMP to update applicable privacy information and choices. The Google Mobile Ads SDK starts and requests an ad only when UMP indicates that an ad request is permitted. If an ad request is not permitted, no ad slot is shown. If no ad is available or a network request fails, a small area at the end of Home may remain temporarily so automatic refresh can recover. No game feature is restricted.

Data Google May Process

The privacy manifests included with Google’s SDKs declare that the following data may be collected or processed for ad delivery, ad measurement, consent management, analytics, fraud prevention, and diagnostics:

Some data may be linked to a device or user, and the SDK declares that a device identifier may be used for tracking as Apple defines that term. The App does not request App Tracking Transparency permission and configures ad requests with advertising personalization disabled. However, non-personalized or limited ads can still require data processing for delivery, frequency control, fraud prevention, and measurement.

The Developer may view aggregated advertising reports provided by AdMob, but Google does not provide the Developer with your game history or answers. For information about Google’s practices, see the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Reviewing Your Choices

Depending on your region and consent state, a Google consent message may be shown. When UMP requires an entry point for reviewing choices, Ad Privacy Options appears in the App’s Settings. If a changed choice means an ad request is no longer permitted, all games remain available.

Support and Ad-Report Inquiries

If you email the Developer, the Developer receives the email address, message, attachments, and technical information contained in the email that you voluntarily provide. This information is used to reply, investigate an issue including an ad report, respond to abuse or security concerns, or meet applicable legal obligations.

Inquiry information is retained only as long as needed to provide support and maintain necessary records, then deleted. Except where required by law or necessary to protect legal rights, it is not used for advertising or sold to third parties. You may request deletion of retained inquiry information using the contact address at the end of this policy. Do not include personal information that is not needed to answer or investigate your report.

For a safe list of information to include in an ad report, see Report an Inappropriate Ad on the Support page.

This Website

The Site is a static website hosted on Firebase Hosting. It has no Developer-added analytics, advertising, contact forms, or account features, and the Developer does not add tracking of Site visitors.

When you access the Site, the hosting provider processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver, operate, secure, and protect the Site from abuse. For details, see Firebase Privacy and Security and the Google Privacy Policy.

Children’s Privacy

The App has no account feature that asks for a name, address, or contact information, and it does not send game history to the Developer. Data handled by advertising services is governed by the “Advertising and Consent Management” section above. Parents or guardians should manage use of device sharing, links opened from an ad, selected sharing services, and email support as appropriate.

Changes to This Policy

If the App’s or Site’s features, advertising SDKs, or data handling change, we will update this policy, the App Store privacy information, and the in-app information as needed. For material changes, we will update the date above and provide notice through an appropriate method.
